The Magical Journey of the Monarch Butterfly

The Monarch Butterfly is a beautiful insect with orange and black wings. It is one of the most famous butterflies in the world.

The Monarch starts as a tiny egg on a milkweed plant. After a few days, a small caterpillar comes out and starts eating leaves.

When the caterpillar grows big, it makes a green shell called a chrysalis. Inside it, the caterpillar slowly changes into a butterfly.

After about two weeks, the butterfly comes out of the chrysalis. It dries its wings in the sunlight and flies for the first time.

Monarch Butterflies travel thousands of miles from North America to Mexico. They fly such a long distance every year to find warm places.

The Monarch Butterfly is a sign of hope and change. We should protect them by taking care of nature.
